Here's why: the Barrel's Bottom reports on the stocks listed on the NEX Board, an off-shoot of the Canadian TSX Venture Exchange. The stocks on it tend to be inactive companies, but many of them trade. Central to the Barrel's Bottom report is a proprietary (weighted average) composite index of NEX-listed stocks. This index is the only one of its kind for the NEX Board.
In other words, if you want to find out how the NEX market is doing, the only way you can find out is through a blog - The Barrel's Bottom.
